Qigong

Qigong is an ancient Chinese exercise that is literally translated as "breathing exercise." Qi is "life force," which essentially means breath. Gong means work or cultivation, hence Qigong is working with and cultivating the breath or life force. References to this art can be found as far back as we can trace the history of the Chinese culture. Qigong is core to the foundation of Chinese medicine, Chinese martial arts, and Chinese meditation. It is still widely practiced today, its longevity being one of its strongest endorsements.

There are many stories about famous Qigong masters reaching extraordinary levels of abilities as healers, martial artists and sages. There are also many stories of great numbers of ordinary people who practice daily for the simple pleasures and benefits that Qigong brings.
